Ofload offers comprehensive technological freight solutions that enables the activation of efficient supply chain ecosystems of shippers and small to medium-sized carriers to remove industry fragmentation.

We empower small to medium-sized carriers with sophisticated technology to improve their day to day operational and financial limitations.

Our Road Freight and TMS SaaS products centralizes freight movements, enhances supply chain visibility and reports on performance across multiple metrics to continuously drive improvement on service excellence, cost optimization and access to the reduction in carbon emission output.

Ofload uses holistic data visibility to enhance experiences for both shippers and carriers looking to drive continuous improvement initiatives, support business scalability and disrupt the approach to supply chain as we currently know it

This newly created role sits within our commercial team, which is an essential part of the future growth success of Ofload. We are Ofload’s growth engine and our focus is to share our technological capabilities to freight owners throughout Australia. We are currently recruiting for multiple roles at various levels

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Contribute to the growth of Ofload’s expanding pipeline and acquisition funnel with a strong hunter mentality

  • Engage in critical analysis of prospects, market and competitor analysis

  • Have a strong ability to connect with prospects, build rapport and be an active listener

  • Interpret Ofload’s growth strategies, and work closely with product and operational department to achieve this

  • Demonstrate past capability of network creation and approach to building past portfolios

  • Technological adaptability - understanding complex challenges and leveraging solutions to solve these challenges.

  • Super strong active listener - hears pain points/problems, identifies with empathy and engages thought provoking conversations

  • Resilient - In our environment we have aggressive targets as a team and further as a business, we need grit and determination to align with our overarching goals and objectives

  • Aligns with company culture - must be a team player, keen to participate in all aspects of departmental collaboration

You are an enthusiastic & motivated BDM with a passion for sales and industry disruption:

  • You are a hunter with strong relationship building capabilities
  • You are passionate about the industry and solving challenges in the supply chain space
  • You have a strong sense of ownership, tenacity and commitment
  • You have B2B sales experience in the supply chain space
  • You have an understanding of how the sales process works
  • You are adaptable to work in a start up environment where things change quickly!
